Oak Ridge Celebrates American Education Week

During the week of November 14-18, Oak Ridge celebrated American Education Week. Monday’s theme was “We have the best team of staff at Oak Ridge,” where staff and students represented their favorite sports teams and thanked a teacher on our Padlet. Tuesday was “Our staff members and students make Oak Ridge the comfiest place to be,” which meant everyone was comfy in their pajamas. On Wednesday, we showed how “Our future is bright” by wearing college gear and college school colors. On Thursday, the theme was “Your future starts here at Oak Ridge.” Students wore outfits that represented what they want to be when they grow up. We also enjoyed read alouds from some of our community members. Finally, on Friday, we showcased how “Our staff and students take pride in education” by wearing our Oak Ridge spirit wear and school colors. Enjoy the photos!
