On Tuesday, February 14, the Oak Ridge Mustangs celebrated Valentine’s Day. Students and staff dressed in various shades of pink and red, and hearts were seen all around the building. For the classroom parties, the PTA hosted an ice cream social and provided coloring sheets and lollipops to take home. Parent volunteers delivered the goodies to each class. Thank you to the PTA and staff for making everyone feel loved on Valentine’s Day!
On Friday, February 17, students who met 8 out of 10 goals on the winter i-Ready reading and math assessments were invited to a dance party in the APR! The goals included trying their best, taking their time, being here and ready, and meeting their individual growth and proficiency goals. The students really enjoyed showing off their dance moves at the dance party! Congratulations to all of the students for working hard during winter i-Ready testing!
