During the week of December 4, Oak Ridge Mustangs celebrated their hard work and dedication after earning the prestigious Blue Ribbon award. Each day students and staff received a “blue” token of celebration: a sticker, a beaded necklace, a pencil, and an actual blue ribbon. On Wednesday, there was also a “Blue Ribbon Bash” where everyone was decked out in the color blue and engaged in fun activities. There was a DJ with dancing, face painting, tattoos, a handprint project, and games. There was also a special backdrop for taking photos. We are so proud of the Oak Ridge community for earning the Blue Ribbon, and we hope you enjoy the photos of the fun that was had!
