The week of September 15th marked “Starts with Hello” week at Oak Ridge. During this week, students and staff focused on creating a welcoming environment for all at school. A spirit week helped keep the participation high. Monday’s theme was “Being a Good Friend Rocks!” where students and staff wore rock and roll attire. Tuesday was “Upstander Tuesday,” where Mustangs dressed like their favorite superheroes. On Wednesday, we wore green as a symbol of unity and solidarity. Thursday was a day to dress for what we want to be when we grow up. The theme on Friday was “Moving Forward to Fri-Yay!” where we showed our Mustang spirit by wearing blue and gold. Overall, we enjoyed participating in the fun spirit days and creating a positive school climate where all feel welcome. Enjoy the photos here!
